The association has successfully organized a seminar on “Feng Shui on Construction & Out-Looks for 2006 Economy” at conference room of Penang Chinese Chamber of Commerce.

29 & 30 January – 2 & 4 February 2006

Several committee members attended various Chinese New Year Open House held by The Chief Minister, YAB Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon， YB Dato’ Dr. Teng Hock Nan, MCA Penang，Parti Gerakan Penang, YB Dato’ Wong Kam Hoong, YB Lau Chiek Tuan and Penang DAP in conjunction with Chinese New Year.

4 February 2006

President Mr. Tan Kia Lock represented the association attended “Chinese New Year Open House 2006” by The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (Penang Branch) – IEM at IEM Penang Branch.

8 February 2006

All committee members were invited to attend “Chinese New Year Dinner Gathering 2006” by REHDA Penang Branch at Penang Club.

21^st Committee Meeting for the term 2004/2006.

Members & Guests Night was successfully organized at Penang Club with 132 participants including 36 guests. The chairman for this event was Mr. Lim Seng Hooi.

There were total 24 members participates in “Avancrete Workshop” invited by Mr. Ong Eng Hoe at Sunway Hotel, Seberang Prai.

Executive Advisor Mr. Lim Hun Swee, Committee Mr. Vincent Ong Seng Chye and Dato’ Loh Gan represented the association to attend “Hong Kong Economic and Business Opportunity” at 3.00pm – 5.0pm at Penang Chinese Chamber of Commerce Conference Room.

President Mr. Finn Choong Khuat Seng represented the association to attend “The 9^th Malaysia Plan & Its Implications On The Penang Economy” by the Penang State Government, the Socio Economic & Environmental Research Institute (SERI) at 2.00pm – 4.30pm at The Perdana III & IV, Level 3, Cititel Penang.

Our association and Construction Labour Exchange Centre Berhad (CLAB) successfully jointly organized a seminar on “Introduction of CLAB” at 10.00am at PMBBMDA Meeting Room with 28 participants.

President Mr. Finn Choong Khuat Seng represented the association to attend the opening ceremony of MAPEX 2006 PENANG by REHDA Penang at Dewan Sri Pinang.
